No I've not seen the team sheet, I have seen the other squads for the Spurs XI which have included Gomes and Naughton ( signed from Sheffield United). I also have a very good idea why Gomes and Naughton played. From this and other rumours I can take an educated guess that if one or two new signings are made why we might see them.
On a side note this will be my third preason game for both sides and I'm yet to see either win, so put your money on a draw.

I'm also a part-time Spurs fan when I'm not supporting Sutton, and I actually think that if 4 or 5 players that have been around the fringes of the first team play, that's a pretty decent showing. When we played Palace, the solitary player that I recognised was Flahavan in goal, apart from that it was their kids.
I think there's a realistic chance that Spurs will send the likes of Rose, Bostock, Dervite, Livermore, all of whom are very highly thought of and have been involved in the first team, and perhaps even a Cudicini or O'Hara.
And from our point of view, I'd rather see a competitive game that we can take some confidence from, rather than Spurs send their 1st team along and smash us by a cricket score.

I was with a Palace ST holder and to be fair he recognised 2 defenders and a midfielder as well as the Gk so probably similar to what a Spurs fan would know about the side that played Crawley.
I would like to think there is an outside chance of seeing £8m signing Bassong, but who knows.

NLP suggests that Crouch may get a run out (he's not played much this pre-season). Still, whoever turns out, hopefully it will be a good match.
I also saw on ebay some entrepenaur flogging the yet to be published prog for 4.99 plus postage. If it's the same as the others, they were only 50p!!
Look out for the guy buying half the print run!!

I presume that is why Crouch was left out of the England squad so he could play for the Spurs XI at Sutton.

There's no chance of the game getting anywhere near being a proper sell-out, it's only stand seats that are on sale in advance and as many of those go to season ticket holders, club officials, complimentary passes etc then "warnings" relate to that. Anyone who wants to stand on the terraces will not have a problem.

It works both ways ! I've been asked to give a work presentation in Llandridno Wells and when I typed it into my SatNav the screen went blank and the in-built voice command merely said "Are you having a laugh ?"

The mountains do tend to get in the way of a direct road to anywhere in Wales As for Llandrindod Wells, aim for Worcester and get on the A44. You can't miss the place. Very nice lake and walking too

The arrangement we have with Spurs is that they will be giving us an idea on Monday of the likely make-up of the squad they will be sending, so we will let people know then if there are any names of interest. Any news on this?
