I had to leave early after 90 mins but although we made it hard for ourselves at times tonight the better side won. We did not settle for about the first 20mins of the 1st half and scored with our first real attack when SP provided a perfect low cross into the box for Hann to bash home. We almost scored a couple of minutes later when Nichols went down injured at the edge of the box but (I think it was Hann) could not keep the ball down to put into the empty net. Gate had the same 2 tactics as Saturday and equalised on ht with a long free kick which to me appeared to bounce and fly into the corner of the net but it may of got a Gate touch somewhere in there? Second half Sutton played all the football and Gate relied on slowing things down, the long ball and oh yes the long throw in. We went 2-1 down when the ball was played into the edge of the box and the Gate forward got away and lifted it over Kevin. Too our credit we just kept playing and created some decent chances including one ball played across the face of goal eluded 2 gate defenders and a Us forward, how any of them failed to make contact was unbelievable. Gate were breaking the play up by fair means or foul with any runs from us stopped by all means necessary one of which maybe should seen their no9 see red but got away with a yellow. It really looked all over until @6mins into injury time when a high ball into the box got a flick on and Danny got to it first about 3 yards out only needing to get the shoulder high ball under control to tap home. Gate number 4 saw red before the restart maybe he thought he saw something but when I left it looked although we would go on and win! Kentish football report very fair: www.kentishfootball.co.uk/mambo/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=4892&Itemid=38

Anybody see the hand ball Margate fans were claiming? I was dead behind so it took me a few seconds to even work out the goalscorer.
Should not of taken as long as it did but when basics are going wrong you will let in poor goals but the effort was there and we got the win.
I wonder when the 'gate fans will work out that when their team spends half the time lying on the floor in supposed agony that 6 minutes of time is going to be added on quite a lot...
