Heart-ache....I'm genuinely gutted that I'm going to have to miss it but the round trip from Botswana will be just that little bit too expensive and even more complicated I'll be back for the 2nd Round game though if we get through ;D

Your journey wouldn't be much longer

Prices are as follows; SEATS ADULTS £15 CONCESSIONS £12 UNDER10'S £5 (IF PURCHASED IN ADVANCE THE GAME - NOT AVAILABLE ON THE DAY OF MATCH) TERRACE ADULTS £13 CONCESSIONS £9.00 UNDER10'S £5.00 (IF PURCHASED IN ADVANCE THE GAME - NOT AVAILABLE ON THE DAY OF MATCH) I think the stand option will be best as we are too far from the action behind the goal. Warning the stand is very steep!

I am pretty sure you are not allowed to stand behind the goal for the away end. We haven't been able to in the past ! It is the side on concrete bunker area.

The first time we visited Hereford (in the cup) we were behind the goal, to the left. Then in the subsequent Conference visits, we were in the terrace on the side.
£13 for terrace isn't bad though. That's better than most Conference sides charge!

the Sutton Ewes will be there in force (all two of us). Its my only weekend home after 10 months living away and before a 6 week tour and I am spending it with the mighty Sutton. Our trip will only be 1hr 45min on the choo choo and will only set us back £21 each. Jealous? However to get to GGL its 4hr on the choo choo and the best part of £50 each. Ahhh the joys of being in a supporters club! Whats the plan for pre game drinkies??? Tomo

KBB From what I see on their website the Blackfriars end is closed for redevelopment anyway, so the standing/seated areas are probably down the same side of the ground

The best two real ale pubs in Hereford are both in St Owen Street (about 15 mins walk from the station and a similar distance from Edgar Street).
Barrels (no.69) is a fairly basic (no food!) multi-roomed boozer owned by the Wye Valley brewery. Their beers include a lovely hoppy Bitter and Dorothy Goodbody's Wholesome Stout.
The Victory (no. 88) is home to the Spinning Dog brewery. The main bar is shaped like a galleon. You can get food here, but the pub is sometimes closed at lunchtime.

Since we will be entering cider country does anybody know whether either of these pubs sell apple juice?
The other Welsh Ewe.
