A number of different routes but is this the best?
M4 to Jct 15 A419 to Cirencester A417 to Jct 11A M5 M5 nth to Jct 8 M50 to Jct 2 A417 again A438
Just over 150 miles. 3hrs maybe 3hrs 20 unless there are roadworks/hold ups? I remember going there before for a Cup tie but it must be nearly 15 years ago!
Got to be better than M40 A40 or hacking round Gloucester?
Anyone been up that way recently or recommends a better route?
Let's have a bumper turn out and ensure the boys know we're there.
Carpe diem!

Went to Ross-on-Wye couple of weeks back,
There are road works on sections of the M4 but no accidents ment we werent delayed.
we went through gloucester to ross, and it werent bad, we did leave however @ 8:00 as we were playing cricket @ 1pm
use the M3, cut through bracknell, saves so much time

You would have thought they would know better considering their history of knocking over league sides when they were non-league. I guess every fan base has their share of idiots, some more than others. Whilst there is a chance it may be an easy win for them we can give them a decent game on a good day!!

From what I remember from 14 years ago, and having gone that way recently, M4/A419 is by far the best way! www.viamichelin.co.ukGreat website I use, gives you lots of options!!

Just sent you a mail about that Greek!
Basically, it's a good 4 hour trip on the choo-choo. You can either go Sutton > Euston > B'ham > Hereford or Sutton > Paddington > Newport > Hereford. Unfortunately though just to make both these options a little bit more of a faff the circle AND victoria lines are fecked that weekend. Which is a great help.
Oh and first look prices wise, it's £43.50 day return.

There is one direct train to Hereford (via Worcester), but you'll need to be up early to get it. Leaves Paddington at 8.21, arriving 11.40. I suspect I'll be travelling a bit later - unless I decide to stop in Worcester for a few beers on the way out.

I don't even know of an aaron on the Hereford forum nor do I recall anyone saying it will be easy for us however, I would say its a good draw for ourselves given that you're one of the lowest ranked non-league sides left in the competition. For you maybe not so good given the crowd wont be that great but you certainly could have had worse.

Well try 'AbleBull' comment on your forum made just after the draw was announced: not bad! easy progress to the next round...? And as he says it should be a nice comfortable afternoon for the league 2 side ;D

TV highlights will be on ITV1 at 10.45 pm, repeated Sunday morning at 9.25. So plenty of time to get back if you want to watch the action as it's broadcast!
