Due to chuck it down this afternoon apparently. So I'd say a pitch inspection at some point later on will be required.
'DoubleBarrel' on here had a look last night after the trust meeting. Very very soft in places.

No rain before the match according to the Met Office, although Smooth just said rain this afternoon but I reckon they mean in the west?
Sunny morning, frost clearing. Rain spreading eastwards this evening.
Today: Dry and sunny this morning with frost in western areas clearing. Cloud increasing this afternoon with outbreaks of rain spreading into western areas this evening. Chilly with freshening southerly winds later. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Tonight: Dry in eastern areas at first but outbreaks of rain will spread to all areas through the evening and overnight accompanied by strong southerly winds. Minimum temperature 2 °C.

Might be a silly question but who carries out a pitch inspection? Is it our own groundstaff or the ref?

Always has to be a referee, if not teh match referee then a suitably qualified local official

For what it's worth, Hendon v Horsham is ON following a pitch inspection at Vale Farm.

It hasn't rained at all in East London today...I know it's not exactly down the road, but we would have heard something by now if it were in any doubt.

It's a lovely day here,500 yards from the ground.

It's a lovely day here,500 yards from the ground. I expect that's just your sunny disposition Billy, bathing the whole area in warmth and light.

This is actually a massive game for us in my opinion - i'm looking forward to this one. Should we win we will go 3rd and onto 28 points leaving us 13 points off Dartford albeit with a heavily inferior goal difference. Hopefully we can reproduce the performance from Saturday

How many Tooting peeps can we expect do you reckon? I know they don't have huge amounts of home support...

I'm rather surprised there is nothing on the official site regarding a pitch inspection. I can only assume they are confident the game will go ahead!
