Dont know what the weather is like in Sutton but here in deepest Kent its bloody freezing! The frost never cleared all day and the weather forecast aint looking good. I have just watched the BBC kent forecast and they are predicting 5-10cms of snow on Friday.Hope they are wrong but it is looking a bit iffy for Saturday. On a possitive note the bird doing the weather forecast was really fit!

Current drunk train plan (weather permitting) is to get the 11.30 off Sutton & be in Margate for about 2. Will have a beer on the train down as the town itself is crap.
Due to popular demand, Greek should be producing some of his special Jelly.
Personally, I hope the weather is as described, but the game goes ahead. Mainly as I want to see how the returning Miller handles snow n'shizzle after being in 40deg heat barely 36hrs before. ;D

Taz, What route are you taking? Are you going from London Bridge or Victoria?Trains from London Bridge stop at Paddock Wood where i will be getting my train. Might join up with you if you are taking this route. If not see you in Spoons on sea front perhaps?

Shall we aim to get the 11.52am from Victoria? Arrives in Margate at 1.40pm.
During the journey we should aim to get drunk enough to make Margate seem bearable when we arrive.

The 11.52 from Vic is ok, but would mean no Jelly as Greek most likely won't be able to get the train up into London in time for that one.

Yep, I doubt I could make that one, I'm aiming for the one that arrives in to lovely Margate at 14.08.

There may have to be a pitch inspection on Saturday morning, but we should know the outcome of that in good time for the 11.52. The latest forecast is for it to stay (just!) above freezing point from Friday through to Saturday, with only light snow showers, so there are grounds for optimism that the game will be on. But you can be sure it won't be very pleasant down there!

Doesn't bother me AA. 'Cos however cold I may be, I'll know for sure that tropical boy will be suffering a hell of a lot more than me! ;D

No I'm not sure, Taz looked them up.
I can see one that departs Victoria at 12.22 and arrives 14.14. I think Taz may still have been a bit giddy from the SSC win and being able to go to Guildford.
