Perhaps we should try and sign him.I don't see Charlie Taylor scoring all the goals we crave although i hope he does.

Charlie Ide was sacked by Chertsey following his reaction to their defeat by Dorking back in November. He's currently without a club...

Does that mean BWG is gone for good?

Oh good. I haven't seen too much of him, but I always thought he looked quite effective when I saw him earlier in the season.

Going back to Jolly and the ridiculous wages he's supposed to be on I listened to the Non League football show podcast from 14 Dec today (late I know) and they reckoned that in the next 2 weeks some 15 Conference and BS North & South sides could be going into administration! It hasn't happened yet but I wouldn't be surprised if it does in the new year. Thank God we have decent people running the club here which enables us to live within our means

Sounds like regulation is required whereby clubs can only spend a certain proportion of their income on wages. Probably needed at all levels. 15 in 2 weeks clearly nonsense mind.

Maybe but everything closes down at Christmas. Apart from the clubs previously mentioned, Lewes, Salisbury, Weymouth, Chester etc, it appears Histon are in trouble and there are also rumours about Bishops Stortford. HMRC are really closing in on football clubs and businesses in general so if clubs haven't paid their NI or VAT then they will be in trouble.

I see Hendon terminated Billy Dunn's loan agreement according to their web site! There's nothing sinister in it, Delboy! Already mentioned on our site in the player news bit also. The full article from their website: 'Graham Etchell announced earlier today that we have terminated Billy Dunn's loan agreement and he has returned to Sutton United with immediate effect. We thank Billy for his efforts over the past couple of months.
Coming in the opposite direction on a month's loan deal is Billy's teammate, Bradley Woods-Garness. Bradley would have been eligible to play for us tonight had the game gone ahead. Bradley has previously played for Dartford, Billericay Town and Farnborough. We welcome Bradley to the club and hope he enjoys his time with us.'

We recalled him. The club putting a player out on loan can recall him at any time after the original 28-day period has expired, but the club taking a player on loan does not have the option to terminate a loan.

Interesting that you think he is the answer to the goal scoring problem. Has failed to prove anything to date and didn't register many at Hendon. I'm not saying I don't rate him but he still has much to prove. Probably needs a run up front before we can decide one way or the other. Interesting options now with Gargan, Taylor, Norwood, Dunn, as well as Watts returning slowly to fitness. I think this team certainly has more goals in it now than last year, it might just come together over the coming months.
