James Norwood missed the game with tonsillitis but should be recovered for Saturday.

All been said above about last night. Have to agree with Delboy, it was entertaining and at least, as usual actually, the lads never gave up. When that 4th went in, I had visions of Grays from a few years back all over again.
As for their guys throw-in, it must have been as good as Rory Delap's and look how many Prem Lge clubs struggle to defend that.
Even so, poor marking for the 1st & 4th goals cost us big time. If you are a football purist, you may say the best side lost last night but it is what happens at either end of the pitch that counts & we came second.
Finally, it would be remiss of me not to mention our friends, the officials last night. A lino more interested in what was being said behind him than what was happening in front; a referee who had no idea what the advantage rule is for, a total lack of consistency when dishing out the cards - how did Haule get away with that tackle in the second half? And no idea at times who had knocked the ball out of play & looking for his lino for a clue, when he was standing just yards away from the clearance.
Still, he had no bearing on the result & so for that, certainly not the worst we've had. That is no saving grace though.

I thougth their keeper was MOM, although a lot of his saves were from shots or headers which appeared to be aimed in his direction. As for the officials XXXXX, mind you as has been said before they didn't alter the result!
