So it goes from where my dad used to play rugger to near where my step dad lives. It's a sign I tell you! Still can't bloody make it though.

Is there a reason given why the Walton game isn't being played at Stompond Lane (apart from the fact that Walton is probably the worst place in the world....it makes Bromley look good)

Shame about the move, may well miss some of the first half. Was a quick rail trip, now train and car, oh well.

Mate, I worked there for 10 years. Inbred on Thames is what I call it. And it so is. It really makes Chicago's look classy!

You've got a point. Having been 'visiting' for nearly 25 years I have to say it is a bit crap.

Shan't make it myself - but for those who do and fancy a pint of the real stuff before/after the game, check out Woodies just off Thetford Rd, a short walk away. Look out for the old Sutton proggies dangling from the ceiling!

Looks like the venue's been changed again people! From the W&H Messageboard today: Posted by Merv on July 11, 2007, 11:54:25, in reply to "Friendly v. Sutton United" User logged in as: DANFOSS
Please note there has been a further change of venue for this match on Saturday 14 July. It will now be played at Kingston University Sports Ground, Tolworth Court, Old Kingston Road, Tolworth , Surrey, KT4 7QH. (Other side of road to Tolworth Bowl). Kick-off 3 o'clock. This is confirmed on their official site, which also states that they have signed Barry Laker and Stuart Searle (ex-Bobbins keeper). See www.waltonandhershamfc.org.uk/new_page_1.htmlThe ground seems to be adjacent to Tolworth station, near Corinthian Casuals ground. See www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=520134&y=165479&z=0&sv=KT4+7QH&st=2&pc=KT4+7QH&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf

This looks like it's next to Racal Decca's ground on the West Ewell By Pass.
