Looks like I'm gonna miss my first game for over 2 years now. I suspect we will have a midweek game after Easter Monday and I'm away in Germany.
Not happy but c'est la vie. Starnsy can't we play them on the 15th?

She already knows. I was going to meet her at liverpool street. I'm sure she'll appreciate the concern though! Thank you Bob...I appreciate the concern ;D

I very nearly twitpicced the hail storm that fell in Hornchurch at around 2.45 but was too busy protecting my head.
I am most disappointed having cleverly booked myself an appointment in Hornchurch that was timed to perfection to end at 6pm, leaving me free to head off to Billericay - drove home instead, directly past Aveley's ground and Thurrock's. Wasn't tempted to stop and see if any games were going to be on at those places.
Taz - that Kettering game is where I first spoke to you I think, not that I remember it for that reason! The Billericay game is where I first noticed Matt Fowler's lack of toothage. Was that the night that Chris Nurse got sent off or am I confusing my Billericays and Braintrees now?

I also walked past the bobbins gaff just before kick off (i'd been in the Hope) and I've never been less interested in seeing a game of football in my life.
Although they are 1-0 down to Margate so that might have been amusing.

Thought so!
Change of subject - just seen reply to you on confguide, Jason Goodliffe scored the 1 for Hayes in the 8-1, well I never.

I thought about going but presumed it would be off, I'm also glad that I had no idea York were at Grays tonight, fairly sure I would've gone had I known, being in that area and all that.

Shame, you'd have bumped the crowd up to 324!

In other news, Warren McBean has joined Chelmsford City on loan to the end of the season from Bromley.

Seems like Billericay have Aveley on our last free Tuesday - only dates available are 7/8 or 15 April

I think Grays will go under at the end of the season or maybe merge with another local side and free up the ground for development. But then I am an old sceptic ;D
