Are we expecting a pitch inspection?

This is one of our toughest games, if not toughest, left in the year. I expect no points there, anything else a bonus. Off the top of my head I don't think we do that well over there, perhaps someone will correct me? Add to that a new manager factor, I think any result over there will be a fantastic effort. Hope the injury worries improve and we get some fresh legs out there.
I'm sure any news of pitch inspection will be posted as soon as there is news.

I can recall a couple of wins over there. A 1-0 thanks to a Matt Fowler strike (I might be wrong, but I think this might have been the start of our amazing run to runners up spot in 2003) and a 5-1 thumping including a cracking 40 yard chip from Dave Harlow.
Tough game, but got to go for a win. 2nd place beckons!

This would be the game where you congratulated Mr Fowler in his goal celebrations with a very civilised handshake. From memory I think Nursey was given his debut the following Saturday and the following midweek was the 9pm Kettering kick-off. All the best tonight chaps. Hopefully I'll get a few pleasing text updates over breakfast here in Melbourne!!

Yep, that was the game. Probably my most reserved reaction to a goal ever!

Weather here in Woodford ( 45 mins away from Billericay ), has just turned nasty, the rain has started falling again ( although lightish at the mo ), and it's become very windy !!!

Frankly I reckon the game was in doubt from about 07:30 this morning! Croydon will more than likely not go ahead either and with the forecast being what it is then Saturday's match may be a struggle too.

Agreed. I don't remember many AFC Dons games being called off.

She already knows. I was going to meet her at liverpool street. I'm sure she'll appreciate the concern though!

Can I just thank everyone for letting me know that tonight's game is off.
After my little strop last week being the only twit to go to Croydon (I should have known something was up when I had to climb over the gate at the end of that long entrance) I have been overwhelmed with texts, e-mails and phone calls telling me the game was off.
Shame really but at least it allows all those players with little 'niggles' to get better. Also I was looking forward to getting off work early and stop annoying everbody with e-mails! Hang on, another text coming in........
