One thing everyone seems to have missed or decided not to talk about is the fact that Ronnie has been released. Best of luck at your next stop, and hope you enjoyed your short time with us.

I think the point with Ronnie was that many people thought it a strange signing and he hasn't improved the team.I expected him to be through the revolving door when AJ was ready.

Could be a mistake IMO. Jols gives us more than just someone to put the ball in th net. I think our forward line looks too stagnant and predictable without him, but time will tell.

Would be nice to receive credit and linkage where it's due, that's all! Added to which, that's the chosen medium for the author to publicise his articles: www.twitter.com/theballisround

I got it from following the ball is round and then got a text whilst reading it to alert me to the article Twitter is an excellent news resource for those not bothered by tweeting themselves.

Wealdstone won 2-1, but judging by the comments I've seen struggled to impose themselves on a poor Hastings side.
The result eases Stones' relegation worries. There's quite a big gap opening up now at the foot of the table, with the bottom five some way adrift.
At least Jols has scored in 2011. Let's home tonight's was the first of many.

Reading some of Jols tweets, apart from the fact he's happy to score, his plan is to score lots of goals, Wealdstone win, and Sutton win so when he returns he's coming back to a positive place.
Good man I say!
