We havent got time for players that are struggling with match fitness - Too much to loose at the stage of the season

Can not afford a loss, although that seems the most likely result. we need a massive effort now.

Lost 2-1. That's frustrating.

Needless to say, the red card probably played a vital roll in the final scoreline, which in itself is not good enough. I will wait for reports from those who went to the match before making any further judgments. Not happy

I gather from what I've been told that the man in black may feature in quite a few reports.
By the way, did anyone else have the NLN vidiprinter pack up on them just after Lowestoft's third goal?

Poor game really. Soft pitch, poor ref and the 2 goals we gave away were schoolboy stuff. Plus another we gifted them that they inexplicably missed.
As for the red card, ridiculous. Quarm trod on the bloke when he flew in making a silly challenge. Certainly didn't look malicious to me.
Very disappointing.

Didn't see the sending off as off the ball. If he did something he's been stupid and we cannot afford that. That aside much better performance and we looked the better side. Didn't really look like scoring when with 10 one close range effort aside.

Someone right on the spot told me that Quarm was sent off for retaliation. He stamped on one of the Bury players apparently.Didn't see it myself as i watching the ball from the other side of the pitch.

Conflicting views re Quarm's red card as apparently one Bury fan reckoned he just landed on their player after trying to jump to avoid what was a bad & late challenge. Couldn't see it myself as Quarm was the other side of the Bury 11. Certainly saw his tackle though & tbh, I was expecting a U's free-kick.
Ref was terrible today as was one of his assistants but we committed hari-kari after being gifted the lead with a ridiculous free-kick that should have been played forward. Instead kes passed to Simon Downer who then found one of their players who set a colleague away. Scrivs saved but the 9 pounced to score.
Then came the red card & their second soon after.
Played quite well in the second half with Bury appearing to be happy to play on the break. Scrivs made a couple of good saves & we made one big chance that the 'keeper managed to keep out.
Considering we were down to ten for so long, the lads did ok on a greasy surface but a defeat s a defat.
As for the arsehole in the black; what an embarrassment he was. Conned by their no 4 into booking Kenny, gave a fre-kick against Andy Forbes for pushing when Forbes had his back to his opponent & failed to book two Bury player for hammering the ball down the end of the ground after blowing for a free-kick. He seemed to give them free-kicks on the shout & boy did they moan. It was ref! ref! ref! all the time.
One othe moan, was their ground. If they can afford to pay Scowcroft's wages, any chance of them providing some decent toilet facilities? There were 720 in attendance, mostly male, and there was 4 urinals in the whole ground. Christ, I know GGL ain't great but that is just not good enough at this level. Even the locals were commenting about it.
A sh*t afternoon, preceded by a nice lunch in the Masons Arms. Recommend it.
