Sorry, but I don't agree with all on here. Rob certainly comes across as bitter. For a start, Zak was/is on contract & that is possibly why he was loaned out.
Secondly if we'd loaned out all those that Rob is mentioning, there would have been no reserve team! As for Croydon Ath making the Ryman prem, let's wait & see.
I disagree with OS that SUFC means nothing to IH & SM as well. There is also personal pride at stake. Let's not start going down the road that they don't care & are not putting in the effort, because that is plain rubbish. Let's keep our frustration credible folks. If the current situation isn't working - which it isn't - so be it but let us not resort to what could be considered as personal abuse.

The point I am making is that for players and managers the days of loyalty to a club have long gone, its a job of work for which they get paid. For them although yes doing well in a job is of course what they want its not the be all end of their careers, as stated IH is a good coach so he may just go back to doing that. For us supporters there is no next stop we will have to live with the consequences of poor players of poor management, they won't look back once they have gone. It is not personal just the way football is today, I would love to have players and management like the old days for whom the club itself meant a lot. Yes it still happens but very very rarely!

Sorry, OS but your comment suggested that they were not being professional and came across, to me anyway, as a challenge to their integrity.

In terms of the level, yes, but that wouldn't be difficult. Went to bloody extra-time too, last minute equaliser.

Mark I am not bitter just dissapointed as already stated, because as I have mentioned on numerous occasions,I have alot of time for Sutton Utd which is why you see me at games,(Sutton Youth v Leatherhead Youth) for example did not see many of the loyals there apart from Clive, and even if all them players had gone on loan Phil Dunne would have done what Phil Dunne always did and would have introduced more players from the youth team to the reserves which I thought is what Sutton Utd F.C is about(colts-youth-reserves-1st team )the fact that Brad is a defender has nothing to do with my point, albeit the fact that he is a quality player and is proving it is another issue which is why he has been put on contract by his current club and nothing to do with me being his father. He has earned that through his ability I am just saying that him among others could have gone on loan,Zac Graham on contract is neither here or there Ian Hazel at one point did say to one other player that although he could not put him on a contract he thought about loaning him out so what have contracts got to do with anything. But once again I am not bitter, beccause who knows what might happen down the line DISSAPOINTED YES but bitter NO

Rob: Although pointed at Mark, I did make comments regarding reserve players getting into the first team when this was raised by you back at the start of the season. While I remain with my original opinion that generally speaking the gap is too big between reserve and 1st team football, I do personally have some sympathy with your argument the way things have panned out. Like any club we back our management to make the right decisions with players they release / loan or sign. My own eyebrows were raised with some of the players allowed to leave as I certainly think one or 2 could of made the step up either directly or with more experience under their belt. Given the lack of success of the management's decisions this season I think you are right to question them as I do myself.
What worries me is decisions like leaving Darius Charles on the bench, yet returns to Brentford to make 2 back to back appearances. Sam Clayton was another player I liked with one or two others who could have used loan spells. Remember this is not the club but the management at the time that make the decisions which we all live by be they right or wrong.

Os I appreciate your comments and yes you are right about comments at the start of the season there is a gap,but although I dont want bto keep going on about it,the gap could have been closed with some expeareance and a little bit of faith, which in a roundabout way I think is what your saying? And as you have also said these decisions do lie with the managerment.
