the only positive will be that Hazel won't be managing the team tuesday? Has he done the right thing and resigned then?

hard to know what to say
Some of the players just not good enough , I suppose the manger has to take the blame. Nothing positive at all we looked a divsion poorer than our opponents.

And another 'amazing' performace. And its nothing to do with the '12th man'. Its all to do with the fact that we have no team spirit and have been consistanly bad all season.
I've been pretty tolerant so far, but after today I've totally lost faith in Ian Hazel's management ability. Not on his coaching ability, i'm sure thats actually pretty good. But its become evident to me, mainly in the performance of players who actually are not firing this season that there is no man management going on. I'm not one for gossiping and there are things I've heard which are 'rumours' and therefore don't have a place on here, but they all point in that direction. But there evidence is plain to see on the pitch.
Its time for a change. And a fundamental one at that. Unless the club, players, management and supporters are resigned to playing Ryman league football.
I'm not going to talk about todays game. All I am saying is that Lewes must have thought xmas had come early when the draw came in. And at the moment, they are right.

This was a game we needed to win to revive our season. We didn't. All three goals were down to poor defending. Up front, we hardly tested the Weston keeper.
Our best spells were the first five minutes and the last ten. But we failed to capitalise on early pressure, and at the end we were looking for no more than a consolation goal.
We've reached the point now where tinkering with the team is not going to be enough. A record of two wins in our last 21 league matches speaks for itself. Unless there are some major changes, we have to accept that Ryman League football next season is now a probability rather than a possibility.

Well I am going to talk about today's game because I need to get it off my chest, I don't know whats going on behind the scenes as what I see is on the pitch. I thought today was the worst of all performances I have seen this season, in every department we were second best to a team who has shipped 10 goals in their 5 away games.
Our system (what system) does not work, the shape is totally wrong, players in wrong positions who don't know what they are doing? We do not have a centre forward, how many teams play without one, Arsenal with their passing and movement, OH! we lack that too no movement what so ever no cohesion between any of the team with the only chances we get coming from individual players. Nick Greene did not get on untill 70mins in a game we desperatley needed to win? Pestle in midfield?
With 5 mins to go I found myself thinking 'there's only one John Rains'!!

I liked the bit when the linesman's flag broke.

I agree with you OS on virtually everything. Unlike Cambridge where we we fell apart, we just never got going. Our only threat was Watkins, who actually kept pushing till the end.

One small consolation: the three teams immediately above us in the table (Bognor, St Albans, Maidenhead) all lost today.

What is blindingly obvious is that the players don't wish to play under Ian Hazel and they are making it clear. He has one course of action.HE MUST RESIGN NOW!
