AB - as a season ticket holder, can I offer my free entry to a friend who wouldn't otherwise come?

£90.01 was collected in today's "Boost the Budget" bucket collection. Thank you very much to everyone who contributed for your support of this scheme once more.
Thank you also to Neil McElroy and, of course, to Colin Payne for helping with the collection today. Much appreciated.
White ticket 210 was today's lucky number which was claimed by Clive Jaycock who wins free entry to Tuesday's match v Basingstoke. Clive is a Brentford fan who comes down the Lane when the Bees aren't playing and always enjoys his GGL experience. A picture of his "crossbar challenge" effort can be seen in a forthcoming programme.
Thanks to Clive and indeed to everyone for their support again.

So if my Maths is correct, that now brings the running total to....£958.80p or thereabouts!
So we just need to keep going to hit the £1000 target set before the start of the season!
Thanks to everyone who has donated so far, please keep it up to help us hit the target!
Thanks again everyone!!

We've just received this amazingly generous offer from a supporter who wishes to remain anonymous. "There are ten home league games left. I'm assuming the club will be doing the "Boost the Budget" exercise at each game. I'm prepared to match the amount raised from these ten games pound for pound, capped at £2,500. So if yesterday's sum of £90 is the average for the next ten games, I'd add £900 to make £1,800. And if it's £250........you'd get £5,000."
So, a big incentive to the club to make sure we get those buckets out and hopefully you will be encouraged to make a donation knowing that it will be matched pound for pound. Don't forget a donation also earns you a chance to win a season ticket in the crossbar challenge. A big THANK YOU to this fan for his or her amazing gesture.

This is a tremendously generous gesture. Thank you very much to the anonymous SUFC fan for making such an offer. Rest assured Colin and I will be manning the buckets at each of our remaining home League games.
Effectively, every pound you throw in the bucket will now be worth two pounds! Please continue your support for this scheme - it is very much appreciated and really helps the club. Onwards and upwards!
Up the U's!

That is great news. It is an incentive to donate a little extra at each game.

£85.25 was collected in last night's "Boost the Budget" bucket collection. Thank you all for contributing once more. Of course, we can now double that amount thanks to the generosity of the Sutton fan who is matching the amounts collected between now and the end of the season. 9 more matches to go to make the most of this great gesture!
White ticket 410 was the lucky number which was claimed by Annie Hall who wins free entry to our next home League match v Bromley on 5 March. Annie delegated the crossbar challenge to the nearest willing volunteer who happened to be David Sharman. Sadly Dave's attempt didn't win Annie a season ticket for 2013/14.
Thank you all for your support once more.

Lets see if we can hit the BIG £1500 before the end of the season!
Thanks to all of those that have donated so far.

In amongst all the excitement of that proper game of football tonight, £84.03 was collected in the "Boost the Budget " bucket collection. Thank you all for your contributions once more. Of course, thanks to the generosity of a fan who wishes to remain anonymous, that amount will be doubled along with the remaining collections to the end of the season. So; keep on digging deeply;every penny counts!
Yellow ticket 482 was the lucky winner tonight, a ticket owned by Meryle Williams but she only realised she had the winning ticket after the half- time break and so the crossbar challenge awaits next Tuesday's winner!
Thanks again to everyone for their generosity.

Thank you to everyone who contributed generously to tonight's "Boost the Budget" bucket collection. A very healthy £115.58 was collected tonight; a figure we can double of course! The total collected so far this season (before the amount to be added by our mystery benefactor after the last home match) is £1,243.66.
White ticket 578 was tonight's winner, owned by Matt Delamere, whose "crossbar challenge" effort found the net but sadly not via the crossbar. Matt wins free entry to Saturday's match v Farnborough.
Thanks again to everyone for their generosity - it is appreciated greatly.

So; with seven home games to go, and adding the " doubled amount" pledged by our anonymous fan, the "Boost the Budget " total stands at £1,528.52 right now. Thanks to a terrific community of supporters. Please keep chucking your loose change in the bucket- it all really helps.....and, of course, is worth double to the club!

£93.72 was collected in today's "Boost the Budget" bucket collection. Thank you all once more for your generous contributions.
White ticket 811 was the (unclaimed) winning ticket leaving the crossbar unchallenged today.
That means we have cumulatively collected £1,337.38 this season , which our mystery benefactor is effectively turning into £1,715.96 with six home games to go.
Thank you all again.
