Blimey that sounds like an incident packed route to the three points. A group us us who didn't travel were wired into twitter as we watched the reserves battle out a two one win v Bromley at a freezing Banstead. Good day all round.

We had the majority of the possession without testing the keeper. On one occasion we had 13 passes and when the ball was finally crossed it went out for a throw in. That summed up our performance on the day, lots of the ball but little end result.

Rumours tonight in the Cornish press that lee hodges may be about to quit. He is doubtful he will be able to field a full side for their midweek game due to the transfer embargo, injuries and players simply walking away. My understanding is if they can't field at least eleven their games are called off. This truro saga is far from over I fear.

The Truro situation doesn't make sense to me? The conference wanted a 50k bond yet will not allow them to replace players - Surely the end result has to be the failure to field a team and further sanction?
They have a reserve side are the conference not allowing reserve players to sign first team forms?
The att today was 613 which was on the back of the save Truro campaign yet the 2 businessman who put up the bond say they need 800 to break even?
I understand that they have 8 weeks to complete the purchase of the club, but surely with 700k (they will get that reduced) debts and no assets the club is simply not viable?
I hope I am wrong because we don't want to lose the points now.

When you hear and read about the amounts of money casually banded about higher up the football food chain, it`s a crying shame that clubs lower down who are run on a shoestring and love for the game itself don`t get more financial assistance  |
