;D
Thanks col. Call me old fashioned but i find it quite easy to arrive at these sparcely populated grounds , find a spot and watch the match.
I like to sit somewhere near the halfway line and don't feel the need to shout abuse at opposition players and/or officials and definitely not stewards.

By the way , do you get to see much of the matches after consuming lashings of ale ? I was at Manchester United 5 Crystal Palace 2 once at Old trafford and an Irish bloke in the row in front missed 4 of the goals while going for a wee.

No one shouted abuse at the stewards Billy and, as far as I know, at the Truro players either. As for the ref, well..... Still, having watched the two games yesterday afternoon, is it any surprise that the standard of officiating is where it is in the BSS when the guys at the top make such horrendous, game/result changing decisions?

Highlights c/o Truro posted on Youtube It's worth watching this for a couple of comedy gold moments. First, there's the guy caught by a steward drinking in the open stand. Even better is the co-commentator saying he reckons Truro will snatch a late winner - seconds before Stefan snatches a late winner for, er, Sutton. ;D

anyway back on track........
after watching the youtube highlights, there were quite a few comical moments both footage wise, and comedy comments from the guys in the background!!
Must say that the SUFC video footage that OS puts together is much better in quality!!

I understand that Green (Dorchester) and Watkins (Bath) have left Truro. Not sure how they will be able to field a team tonight.

Looks like Truro are still in the mire (and after my trip on Saturday and their "stewards" heavy handedness in certain situations) I am losing sympathy for them. I won't consider my expense of getting there a wasted lose, but having our three points erased if they fold would be gutting.

Still, having watched the two games yesterday afternoon, is it any surprise that the standard of officiating is where it is in the BSS when the guys at the top make such horrendous, game/result changing decisions? How far down the leagues do they use a fourth official ? That's a waste of a ref for a start. The refs do have a hard job when virtually everyone is cheating , even Phil Neville was at it this weekend. The dives of the outrageous cheat Suarez are blatantly obvious but i'm not so sure about Torres. Are we now saying that while running with the ball and being confronted by a six feet plus defender you can't go over ? Ludicrous. As for offside goals , i have no problem with the goals by Arteta or Hernandez. That's not why the offside law came in.What advantage could Hernandez possibly have with FOUR defenders , including the goalkeeper , virtually on top of him.............................
