Cheers AA. Other than bottling the spring water that's bubbling up from the GGL pitch Del Trotter style sounds like we are stuck with it. I'll get the bottles prepared!

Helge Orome who made a brief appearance for us wrote on his Facebook page "Can't wait to smash Sutton United. Revenge will be sweet" Sent Colliers Wood a text saying he was playing for Bromley reserves on the morning of an Wood 1st XI away game ! Someone has completely misunderstood this on the Bromley forum. Most amusing.

They have. This happened 2 weeks ago. Helge is a great lad btw but, like so many ambitious younger players, forgets where he started. he came on a s Sub for Croydon Athletic at GGL a few years back and did very well!

Following this from afar unfortunately. No Dundas in the starting line up, wonder if he picked up a knock on Saturday in the friendly match up? Wing back system in place, Williams starts up front. Team news picked up via Twitter feed.

The first goal was the funniest I've seen at a Sutton game, Bromley 'keeper easily collects the ball from a free-kick. As the players run out of the area for the seemingly inevitable Bromley attack, the Brom 'keeper decides to tamely throw the ball over Harry O who doesn't appear to be aware. Harry meets weak throw with his head, which sails over the 'keepers head, and Marvin pokes it in before it has the chance to go out.
Very pleased with the overall performance of the Us today, everyone seemed too be on the same wavelength and there were no fundamental errors. Fingers crossed we can continue in a similar vein with Salisbury and Wrexham coming up

Superb performance. Marvin scored from a tight angle after a comedy error form their keeper. We absolutely bossed the first half with marv on fire. Should have gone in two or three up. Beauts gaves us the cushion we deserved straight after the break rolling one into the corner after spinning round like a strictly contestant on speed. After that bromley came a bit more into he game but we looked rock solid with everyone working their socks off. With rumours of how much bromley are paying their players the fact is we beat them comfortably and despite the lay off all our lads looked sharp and hungry. If I had to pick an mom I would go with marv but every single player put in a shift and on we go.

Well worth the wait to see us in action again, today we were fluent in control from the off and looked sharper then Bromley. The only disappointment was only being 1 up at HT as so often we have dominated matches without reward and it took a keepers error to give us that lead, when we should have already been 2 up. Second half we were straight back at them at Harry made space to turn and hit a shot with no more power the absolutely necessary and the minimum distance from the keepers left hand to give us a deserved 2-0 lead. We should have added a 3rd straight after but understandably we sat back a little Bromley made all 3 subs in a effort to salvage something. With better shooting Bromley could have given us a uncomfortable last 20mins but in truth failed to test Scrivs until the dying minutes.
2-0 didn't really do justice to our performance, I think 4 or 5 would not have looked to out of place. MW MOTM for me. Boats have a great game too, and with Leroy, Gwillim and Dundo on the bench a really strong squad.
I don't understand the refs at this level, not booking Bromley players when hacking down forwards who had beaten them for pace and on their way into the box is beyond me? In the PL the yellow would be out straight away.
Onwards and upwards, we are going to get 6 before the season is up.
