What is you favourite and least favourite BSS ground?
Me?
Bath City : Big traditional old ground with lots of character steep terracing and great views of the city.
Eastleigh : The only thing going fot this ground is the new stand. Otherwise the complete opposite of Twerton Park.

Have to totally agree - Bath tops, classic Southern League ground. Other grounds I like in our league are Dover and Ebbsfleet. Also a bit of a soft spot for Maidenhead.
Worst would have been AFC Hornchurch. All sorts of awful. But Eastleigh runs it pretty close - totally lacking any sort of character and atmosphere.

I haven't been to many grounds so can't really say but I think Bath does look good from pictures and research. GGL would be very good if they brought the stands in over the athletics track
Chelmsford is still an athletics ground and Hornchurch is also crap, but they went down.

At least at Chelmsford you can stand behind the goal!

I agree with Stewart, Bath is a beautiful old ground. I also like Dorchester, and do enjoy a visit to Dover.
Hornchurch is the worst ground I've seen a Sutton league game at, Eastleigh is a poor place to view a game, unless you sit down. Big terrace aside, Weston isn't a good place to watch Football, and Truro wasn't up to scratch

Will there be any ground in terms of "average" we will go to than Stortford next season. There's nothing spectacular about it or offputting. It's just....there isn't it?
I think there are other grounds that have good bits, ruined by naff bits. Staines have a great main stand and bar, but especially poor at each end. Bromley's isn't too bad either, esp the two end terraces, but don't have a great main stand either.

The best modern ground award must go to Dorchester.

Quite like Eastbourne actually, especially the advertising hoardings....

I feel the same about Boreham Wood Know what you mean about Wood - at least it's still the old ground rather than one of those characterless new built ones of tin which puts it just a little more in favour that Woodside

I would say best away atmosphere last season was Dover. Not least cause of the storming finish to the game but aside from the lousy catering set up crabble is a decent trip. Horn church are on to a hiding to nothing on here but of course I'm going to put up a shout for farnborough with the ominous, unused and mildew coated folly at the cherrywood end.

The best ground for me is Maidenhead United as one can partake in a pint to accompany your smokes.
The worst would be Chelmsford City as they openly endorse a smoking Apartheid.

The worst would be Chelmsford City as they openly endorse a smoking Apartheid. You can smoke in the ground, but only near the only wooden structure in it I was put off Farnborough by their stupid removing bottle lids from kids drinks idea. Their silly stand that no one can use, and that the clubs creditors must see and think I paid for that? The covered area of the ground you can use appears to be connected via the back of the stands to the farnborough drainage system either that of its some form of weir? I like going to Dover, Tonbridge and always found Stortford a comfortable ground?

Dover isnt a bad place! Apart from the delay on the all new shiny scoreboard!! Dorchester not too bad, a bit of concrete jungle, chcuked on the end of carpark!! Hornchurch, well theres only one place you can stand to see the game. Staines, not bad to be honest. Bromley, a bit of old with a splash of new in places. Chelmsford, it's a local outdoor facilty with a bit of turf in the middle.
The best by a country mile for me, has to be Dartford, and yes I know it's not BSS! Dartfords ground, in fairness yes funded and cared for by the local fat cats, is decent!
