The viewing isn't that bad. The two terraces around the corners at the GGL end are quite good as is behind the GGL goal and the majority of the Colingwood covered terrace. For the gates we get, can't see a prob. The stand is a prob though with the dugouts where they are. The enclosure view was never that great since H&S requires the removal of the two steps that used to be at the back (not for this short arse anyway).
Ground does need a major revamp though but then we all know that.

I thought that the proposed new stand was just a standing terrace? That would undoubtedly be the best spot in the ground to watch from if built due to proximity to pitch. And that is the real problem with GGL. Even the new covered terracing has been placed too far from the pitch. Let’s hope lots of thought and feedback from the fans goes into any new development.

squaring off the Collingwood with a covered terrace same as the GGL end would make a real difference for me, I know its part of the full plan but as an interim measure it would kick the process along. I know it wouldn't come cheap, not least the demolition of the current Curve Nord, but I would have it as a priority if at all possible. Agree re view from main stand enclosure, nightmare if you are hovvering to beat the rush to the bar.

And there IS the other major problem, the Tunnel. A bl**dy nightmare on match days with anything like a decent crowd.
