Thought it was announced as Theophanous. Tannoy is poor behind the Collingwood goal. It was, Mark. Tony later apologised for his error. So you're not going mad just yet

Seems like a good solid win. Still in Spain for the Stortford game but I will travel to Concord on Monday. Btw it seems the 'Johnnie1 formula' for predicting never fails! I didn't bother - I predicted a 1-0 defeat at eastleigh and that's put me right off!

The fella I referred to from their forum earlier in this thread reckons he's upset me. Ha. What he fails to consider is the fact that the word intent in football now only applies to deliberate handball. Therefore, slip or not the tackle on Jamie S was a red card as it was serious foul play. And that is where his knowledge appears to be lacking. The damage done to skip sounds pretty bad so I think the red was more than justified.
Can't be bothered to re-reg on their forum hence this.
BTW, a Conference ref has seen it and told me he thought it looked a red card.
Anyway his lack of knowledge is extremely upsetting and I'm off to see my therapist early next week.

So you're not going mad just yet Just to be boring...Tony originally credited the goal to Erivaldo Felix. I think Felix and Taylor (the scorer) had similar shirt numbers (15 and 16) so the mistake is easily forgivable. Tony's correction was in marked contrast to the dunderheaded performance by Eastleigh's announcer the previous Saturday. And, for what it's worth, I agree entirely with Mark F about the red card.
