I do love the FA Cup.
What has been your favourite FA Cup game in recent years?
The Leatherhead replay takes some beating!

As a game, have to agree, but others have had moments too.
Coming from behind to win at Ware was good, but that final whistle against Aylesbury at Chesham, knowing we'd got into the first round for the first time in 13 years was pretty special

Not sure I've ever seen a tie against someone level on points in the same league away from home described as a banana skin before.

Fetcham Grove in late Autumn on a Tuesday night was always a great venue and time to watch football and certainly that night it was.

With the mist rolling in off the River Mole that really was a great football night between two old school Rothmans Isthmian sides. My daughters first fa cup game as well. I told her that behind the fence at the river end there was an ancient and haunted burial ground. When she looked up and saw some bloke sitting in a tree watching the game behind that goal she nearly screamed. So some added Halloween horror thrown in as well. Mind you I copped it off her mum when we rolled in at eleven o'clock on a school night with tall tales about how dad had scared her witless. Love fetcham grove. Used to go to the Saturday night discos down there in the late seventies and early eighties in search of thrills of a different kind. Happy days.

One of my best memories (going back many years) was winning a cup replay at Waterlooville - with Micky Preston dominant in our defence.

Not being able to go back so long in terms of Sutton matches, I agree the Leatherhead replay was superb even though Frank has still not forgiven me for spilling his tea when the final goal went in!
I also remember Hampton and Richmond away being decent a few seasons back. Seem to remember the team being under a bit of pressure going into the game and meeting Kes beforehand who told me he was injured. Then got chatting to a guy from ITV about how weird it must be to cover a game in the Nou Camp midweek then at H&R. He seemed genuine when he said he looked forward to our game just as much.
The atmosphere was great that afternoon and it reminded me of how excited I got about the FA cup when I was a kid. Then saw highlights on telly the next afternoon. A good day.

Another cracker that one - really good atmosphere. If I'm right, that was Dos's first victory against a side above us league wise. And of course their goal scorer that day was one Craig Dundas. I don't think AB's voice has been the same since "We've got Matt Hannio!"
