As this is a special game I thought I would start a new thread for the FA Cup game.
I have added a few links.

I thought they were a good side. Threatening in the final third. They've definitely got options up that end of the pitch - a bit of muscle, some speed and movement, and they got a few decent shots away. It felt like we eventually got the better of them by playing a fast-tempo, using the full width of the pitch, sending some stretch balls down the channels for our wingers to latch on to and hold position, and then harry the buggery out of them when we lost possession. A frenetic, end-to-end kind of game in the second half helped us play to our strengths. But I guess that approach wouldn't suit every opposing team. FYI - they also brought a few vociferous fans - really nice bunch. Well worth a friendly beer and banter with.

I know Lewes were missing a couple of players, Olarunda up front in particular would have been a big miss.
Interestingly I thought they were a decent side but I felt we were more threatened by Margate. In the second half we seemed to get on top by moving the ball quickly. I thought Erhun dropped a little deeper and we played the ball from further back. Their long throw will obviously be a weapon against many so id prepare for that (as much as you can.) Other than that not much to add.

I thought Lewes were a very good side to watch and contributed fully to the best match at Champion Hill for a long time. It was easy to see why they were unbeaten with the best defensive record in the division as I thought they looked tight and well organized at the back, despite conceding four goals. The first was an own goal that the defender probably couldn't do much about, and the other three were all from well executed moves. They had more individual flair going forward than anyone else I've seen us play, but perhaps lacked a bit of a cutting edge in front of goal. (They've scored significantly fewer goals than any of the teams above them and fewer than some of those below.) As mentioned, the man with the long throw (Ross Treleaven) needs watching.

Sutton are very strong having watched them beat Eastbourne last Saturday although Jamie Taylor limped out of the game. They rely heavily on the flanks pushing the wingbacks forward so the best way to get around them is diagonal balls to the flanks behind the wingbacks.
They know all the pushing pulling and blocking so hope you get a good ref plus they fall over at the slightest opportunity.
They are one of the top teams and look very strong for promotion and hope you can get them on an off day.
