I think you have to look at the second picture and then it's clear why a penalty was awarded: www.flickr.com/photos/stuarttree/10634845793/in/set-72157637239882103<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/stuarttree/10634845793/" title="Sutton Utd vs Eastleigh by Stuart Tree, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5509/10634845793_06c80c61a8.jpg" width="500" height="333" alt="Sutton Utd vs Eastleigh"></a>

Can whoever SUFC is on the Eastleigh board please tell the cretin Back4more poster that OUR PITCH IS NOT SMALL!! Christ there was ample opportunity to pass the ball yesterday for them but they took an anywhere will do hoof it attitude to it, even when playing 10. We managed to pass it around and keep the ball pretty effectively.

I see Dos is taking some flack on the spitfires forum.
What an ungrateful bunch of tossers. Slagging the bloke who dragged them by their bootstraps out of the Wessex league and into the upper ranks of the non league game. Pathetic.
I also see they are running round like headless chickens after ten man sutton bested them yesterday in every department.
Thirty travelling fans and playing the blame game when you are top of the league with pretensions of the conference says it all about Hill and his mob.
Don't even get me started on the bogus attendances and the covered terraces with no terracing. And this mob are now claiming we deliberately dimmed the floodlights to so they couldn't see what was going on. It's taken em twenty four hours to come up with that one. They need help.

Yesterday's match was the featured game in the NLP but most of the report concentrated on the two managers' stance over budgets. Hill reckons ours is bigger than theirs and that's why were were better them yesterday. He quoted Dale Binns and Damien Scannell's move here as evidence. Now, I'm not saying most players wouldn't move for more dosh but what Hill forgets is that the move for both probably cuts their travelling down significantly (that includes training) and therefore petrol costs so they could probably afford a drop in wages.
Perhaps though, it's because Dos sells this club so well and can back it up with excellent training facilities, brilliant coaching and of course how well our club is run. Perhaps too, they find Dos an easier person to deal with than Hill. Sometimes people will take a wage cut if it means enjoying their employment more (I should know).
Hill also seems to forget (or is maybe ignorant of the fact) that U's fans are paying for two players, Dos doesn't take a salary and like them, we too have some half decent sponsorship deals.
Basically, Hill is hiding behind the fact that, as I said in my first post, Dos's boys played with far more spirit and togetherness than his own lot and Eastleigh were fortunate to get a point yesterday. He can try and hide behind whatever excuse he wants but he never got his team up for what was a big match and I'm in no doubt if we had kept all 11 on the pitch we would have won yesterday.
As for their fans' they've always been the same and the 1966 fellow who goes on the Con South forum is the biggest idiot of the lot. Our pitch was too small? We dimmed the lights? What herbals have they been into recently?

And then, just to prove me wrong Mr 1966 actually posts a couple of decent comments on the CS forum - I'll take my comment back. SpiritofEastlrigh is the biggest fool. He quotes Dos' comments in the NLP report and then gives it large but fails to note Dos was responding to Hill's initial comments. But then why let the facts get in the way of an opportunity to post absolute rubbish? Made me chuckle for sure.
I am so glad that the pen we got was for a challenge that started outside the box, I so bloody am.

I agree mark. I just really wanted Scannell to finish for 2-1 so he could go and celebrate in front of the away fans giving him sh*t all game.. Would have been a beautiful moment for sure!

Why do we worry about what other teams fans say about a game after it happens on other fora? It's pretty obvious that being installed as favourites has made some Eastleigh fans think they have a divine right to the title. A bit like some of our fans did with the Ryman league in 2010/11. Of course not coming away from a match like that where a lot went their way and overall they were 2nd best will be everyone's fault but theirs. We can rise above that, and let our footballing do the talking like yesterday.
Personally I don't rate Hill as a manager and with the funds afforded to them, the fact he is convinced that we have a bigger budget, he's probably forgotten how much he earns compared to Dos. And if there are any fans slagging Dos off, then they are a disgrace to their club. That would be like Sutton fans slagging off people like Andrew Letts, Peter Molloy, John Rains and Barrie Williams. They obvious forget where they come from.
But as for their "excuses" for why they didn't win - let them moan over it. Anyone who was there yesterday with any brain know that they were lucky to leave with a point.

Because that is what forums are about! Another moronic nonsensical quote from Eastleigh below!!! Apparently Dos was commentating up on the gantry and not just getting a better look at the game. Maybe those managers screaming at their players as the game goes on are the ones who haven't or don't prepare their teams properly!!
'Dossie was on his way around to do the commentary on the second half up in the gantry. Which is absolutely bizarre to me, he (and all managers) should be in the dug out and in the technical area managing their team. If they want to be commentators then they should give up the managers job! Managers this day and age at our level dont seem to shout and scream instructions at their players from the touchline anymore. RH was sat in the dugout all game and i only saw him jump up when the bad challenge was made on Fleetwood. They tend to do all their shouting at the referee and linesmen, rather than advise their own players of positional tactics etc.
I just dont get it, maybe i'm a dinosaur, but i want to see passion and verbal encouragement from the manager to the players, especialy when things are not going well on the pitch, and it just doesnt happen anymore, does it? How can they influence the game if they say nothing and how can Dossie influence a game when sat in headphones in a commentary gantry. The games gone!...'

That is quite possibly the most brilliant stream of brain addled old bollox from another clubs forum since the Ks casuals farago. Dos was feckin commentating for sutv ??Execeptionally bonkers and proof as to why it is worth clocking the oppos forums for the pure laugh out loud entertainment value. Eastleigh fans. We salute you.

I would think that Eastleigh are very happy with a draw at the home of a championship rival. It was a draw wasn't it ?

Exactly, I think some people are just looking for reasons to moan or have a go at Dos and SUFC. How ridiculous - what on earth does the way Dos chooses to manage his team have to do with them? He clearly knows what he's doing and presumably the writer of that comment doesn't have the skills and experience to manage a club at this level so why question someone who does?

They played for a draw from the first minute with their obvious time wasting tactics.Oh & by the way Dos wasn't up the gantry all game as i saw him near the dugout.
