Thought I'd kick this one off. Ebbsfleet are going for a club record this Saturday - they've won 8 on the trot in all competitions, and if they beat us on Saturday that will be their best ever run in their history (Including their time as Gravesend and Northfleet). Ironically the last time they won 8 on the trot, the 8th game was against us and saw the debut of Steve McKimm for them! www.ebbsfleetunited.co.uk/home/eight-wins-has-fleet-poised-on-the-brink-of-a-club-record/

The weather forecast for Saturday, is frankly, appalling. If the game does go ahead, as well as the Christmas shopping traffic, we could have a further problem with the QEII Bridge being closed because of high winds. I hope the forecasters are wrong but wet and windy does not make for good football.

It has done nothing but rain here in North Kent all week, my garden is mud now and we have a full nights rain to come plus more forcast right up to the match.
On a good pitch in decent conditions this is just the type of match we like, the home side won't be sitting back and that lets us play and we more often then not come out on top in these sort of games. Its when the oppos start putting 2 banks of 4 infront us we look our most vulnerable.
Alas I think the final score will look like this:
Ebsfleet United P P Sutton United

Another match preview can be found HEREThis amuses me greatly. A club that came out in public with obscene spending figures and still we're referred to as the big spenders. Makes me laugh.

Marvellous. A professional journalist dicking around with an em dash whilst failing to correctly use a comma or close a quotation correctly in a six paragraph article. Still, despite the embarrassing incompetence, he has accurate financial information about our budget that he won't bother to back up with any figures, facts, or proof of any kind. *Bonus points for correcting spelling and grammar in my drunken rant
