Hugely exciting. Let's hope we can get the go ahead, find the funds and get it done. The changes indicated would make such a big improvement to the atmosphere, viewing and overall match day experience. Fantastic.

Just out of interest what would this do to our ground capacity?

The capacity should remain roughly the same.

And will there be the possibility to develop further when we're pushing for a league place?
Great work by everyone connected with this project.

This is really, really wonderful news. I did a happy dance when I read it I'll have very little free time this summer, but what I do have I will be happy to put into any help that's needed.

Great news, let's hope everything comes off as planned as I'm sure a hell of a lot of hard work has gone on to get to this stage.
Hopefully we'll have a much improved ground next season, be playing at Conference Premier level with a lot of the people who come to Saturday's free game against Basingstoke returning on a more regular basis.
I would be more than happy to help with any work in the summer and will try and persuade one or two others to help out too.

Subject to the views of the groundsman and any impacts on pitch drainage, we may also move the whole pitch around 3m towards towards Gander Green Lane and make it perhaps 1-2m wider
I always thought the GGL terrace was set back to far.
Many thanks for the updates Dave.

very exciting plans. However, I have one issue and that would be with the proposed location of the perspex dug outs. If placed on the Collingwood Road rec side, can i assume they will form part of the new pitch perimeter fencing?
If not, they will obscure the view substantially unless the plan is for the new terracing to be elevated higher than it currently is.

And if that happens we all know what this forum will look like...

A tranche of shares in SUFC Ltd is being made available to go straight towards the funding of the stadium project. Go to www.suttonunited.net for details
