At what point/age do you stop wearing ludicrous replica shirts, stop singing silly songs and sit in the stand around the halfway line so you can get a better view of whats's going on ? I would say 14 years old tops........... How can you see what's happening if you take up a position behind the goal ? At what point/age is someone allowed to be critical of how others support their team rather than embrace the fact they are a fellow supporter. At what point/age should someone be so arrogant and insulting that anyone who doesn't abide by their cynical point of view should be dismissed so easily? At what point/age does a supporter not get shot down because they choose to watch the game from a certain place in a ground, where they are still watching at a level where they can choose where they stand? To be honest some supporters do things/say things/wear things that I probably wouldn't do and on occasion can be a little silly. But that's their choice. And for what it's worth I respect their choice. Maybe you should do the same too...

Come on Billy.Stop winding them up! Its time for your medication. i think the Sutton supporters need some new songs. How about this ? The tune has been used many times including for "You're gonna get your XXXXXXX heads kicked in" and "We are the famous football hooligans" Let's adapt it to fit the Sutton support and try this...................... YOU'RE GONNA GET YOUR GRAMMAR CORRECTED (CORR-EC-TED) What do you reckon ?

I'm struggling to see any connection between age and how one supports a football team. What's age got to do with it?
The point of the replica shirts/colours, Billy, is so the team are able to look up and see their colour displayed en masse. It's a good psychological boost. I know psychology wasn't considered in your day but with all due respect, that's because people didn't understand how important it was, not because it didn't matter. It always has.
