I agree. Dover support was top. Good luck to them!

Totally out sung....whete is the noise? Sometimes you need the team to perform to get the crowd onside!

Our support was there. Tailed off understandably after the 3rd.

This is actually quite offensive to those of us who made an effort for the whole game.

That would be the Dover fans who have failed to turn up in their droves this season and given their manager some tremendous stick, turning up right at the death to join the party. There is nought more fickle than football fans and the Dover lot are certainly that.

I did hear a few insipid chants of "Yellow" and "United" now and then.Apart from a bit of bad language their supporters were brilliant. They weren't so loud for most of the 1st leg they only woke up after their equaliser.

I think there is a perception among supporters of other clubs that a few of the Sutton faithful would be more at home at a regatta.
You see it in this forum. The few with a superior "holier than thou" attitude.Falling over themselves to correct others even stooping so low as to correct people's grammar/spelling. The few who know everything and are never wrong.

Perhaps they could start a new chant next season in response to "You're supposed to be at home" etc etc.......something along the lines of............."How many GCSE's have you got?"

Well you could include yourself in the "never wrong" category Billy.

Billy. If you don't like what other people have to say on here then don't read it. If it winds some users on here up that there is bad grammar or spelling then perhaps they should apologise to you directly for actually being a bit educated and cultured. Just because you've got a bee in your bonnet about it doesn't make them bad supporters.
And I can vouch for the fact that the core support were yet again a credit. If you didnt hear the chants and singing that we did especially in the first half then I suggest you either get your hearing checked or actually choose to accept there was some rather than ignoring it and using that as a back stab. To be perfectly frank the support performed better than the team.

I find it helpful when people offer me advice on my writing style. I'd rather be corrected and learn something than carry on in ignorance and look stupid. Some people, of course, do think they're always right and therefore above criticism so take offence when they're corrected. There are ways of both giving and receiving corrective advice with good grace.

One area I agree with Billy. A football forum is no medium for correcting spelling/punctuation. Don't think anyone is on here for an English lesson.

Yes, and Gareth also has a point, and personally I try to bite my tongue about that sort of thing for that reason even though I find it really irritating, but like I said I would find it helpful.
