I thought I'd start this early, as I'm off to Bath tomorrow.
Bath City started the season with an impressive six straight wins (including a 5-0 thumping of Havant), but have since slipped from 1st to 4th in the table and on Tuesday lost 2-1 at home to Harlow in an FA Cup replay. Sutton have a decent record at Twerton Park and have won on three of our last four visits (drawing the other). But I understand that both Simon Downer and Jamie Collins will be suspended for this game. On the plus side, Bedsente Gomis returns after his suspension. Ross Stearn revisits his previous club.
Bath has some great pubs, including the historic Old Green Tree (Green St) and the Star Inn (Vineyards). Before the game I shall be heading for the Bath Brew House (James Street West).

The only game I will miss all season, with geography a-level messing up the plan to do every single game. Reckon we could get all 3 points from this one

Probably my favourite away trip and ground in the league. Lovely old Southern League ground with decent facilities, huge pitchside terrace, always a good atmosphere, and in a lovely city which you can see pitched up on the hillside that Twerton Park is.
Having a good record there helps of course, and being the scene of the biggest highspot of that awful relegation season.

Yep, Twerton Park is a splendid ground. I'm looking forward to this game. Bath's form has dipped alarmingly after their fine start. I think the only win in their last 8 games was against Bodmin in the FA Cup. I'm sure Ross is looking forward to this game!

Great results, well done Us! I bet Stearn is absolutely delighted with his goal today, hope he still has a goal left in this run for Aldershot!

Was fairly comfortable in the end though we did need to ride out a bit of a spell after half time when Ross made a couple of good saves. Good to see Louis John on the field and he overcame a jittery start to play really well. Think he can be a force at this level. The whole team were pretty good. Stearny must have particularly enjoyed that and scored a cracking goal.

We must be top of the fair play table, if you turn it upside down Mind you I note that other sides against us are getting away with murder, like that challenge last week at Hemel!!! Just had a look if you are squeamish look away now: League matches = 13 / 35 Yellows / 4 reds / Points 184 All Matches = 16 / 40 Yellows / 4 Reds / Points 204 We top the table by 54 pts. One redeeming factor is that Whitehawk have had 5 players sent off. All quite incredible when we are not in anyway a dirty side
