Dorch and Bognor both losing 2-0 at the moment. Scant consolation if we get nothing though.

Not to be too much of a doubter but I don't think there's any coming back from that based on recent history. At least the other 2 look like losing too - only the absymal form of others has left us with the outside hope of survival (however I think we'll need to beat them both - games coming up soon)

Yep well said, to be honest I didn't expect anything from tonight - Havant are a good team. Not just in the cup of course, but in the league they won't be far off the play-offs if they win their games in hand.

We could've lost 7-4 I reckon on chances but having started so well it was a real killer to go 1-0 down to their frst attack fo the game, a free header in the six yard box.
2-0 down was yet another penalty decision going against us, poor old AJ had the ball fired at him from 2 yards, the kind that you see never given time and time again.
We played well, ifs and buts would've seen us take the lead but yet again so many free kicks and corners not beating the first man. Their third was from a corner that Phil looked like he should've got to. H&W did have a fair few clear-cut chances though.
Positives? We didn't play badly, Karim, Honey, Bash, Dundas and AJ did well and Steffan can definitely strike a dead-ball, he was our only threat on free kicks. Bognor and Dorch lost I think, we can curse our luck again a bit tonight, we played reasonably well but H&W were the better side.
Last point, their number 8 should've been sent off towards the end for taking a swing at Bash, yet another bollocks referee that bottles it by booking both players even though it was under his nose.

I think we played some decent football in spells tonight, but we are paying the price for just too much inexperience at the back. Individually they are all good players but lack the ability to read the game like seasoned campaigners as a unit they seem to be in trouble at every long or high ball and constantly caught out of position. There is a fine line between winning and losing and we are just on the wrong side of it, we are not getting the rub of the green but that happens when your down there. What I am p*ssed off about tonight is the squandering of free kicks, corners and open goals if we can't help ourselves then who is gonna help us?
The ref was a plank, I took a real dislike to Collins who was full of himself all night and should of gone for just being plain irritating from start to finish.
Its Eastleigh or bust, we simply have to beat the leagues in form side to keep ourselves alive, one more win for Welling and Bognor without a similar reply relegates us as the gap will be 9 and 10pts from safety with 12 or less to play and that is a mountain just too far!
