From the Beastleigh website stop press. 'Eastleigh are in negotiation with Sutton United for the transfer of Warren Mcbean for the rest of the season'

No surprise really, Ernie doesn't really seem to have taken to him or indeed the challenge having Warren in your side presents (or indeed the challenge of getting him to the bloody ground on time). I genuinely believe with the right management and a kick up the arse he'd blow this division apart but there you go, looks like it's not to be I can't imagine Wozza's wallet will mind a move to Eastleigh though!

They can have him as long as we can use Kez in todays game!

I can not understand why Warren, once at Barnet, is unable to deliver the goods in Conference South? ?? Is he that hard to handle??

In a good team, Warren is a fantastic player, but I'm less sure of his abilities in a team such as ours. Good luck to him at Eastleigh though, and hopefully he'll be signing for them after a defeat today!

Could not agree more SC, but no doubt the management feel that they are unable to get the best out of Warren. Last season he averaged a goal every two games, he has the talent and the skill to perform at this level, but one has to remember the current Sutton side is probably the weakest for many a year. and also an unsettled side, with loan players coming and going, and the rotation of players from the reserves, all in an attempt to find a winning side with limited resources. So prove them wrong Warren, if you get the opportunity to come today, score a couple, just like the ones against Brentford in the pre season friendly.

If he struggles to get to GGL in time, imagine what it will be like getting to Eastleigh!?!?!

If any of you saw his behaviour in the changing room then you could understand why SUFC want to get rid of him. HE is a lazy , greedy freeloader. Not even that good a player either!

That he maybe but he certainly scored some excellent goals for us last season. Attitude would appear to be everything with WM & that's why he just ain't done the business this season.

The guy has bags of ability and when he plays he really is a threat. He just needs to apply himself better. We need guys up for it and he's not sadly.
Apparently listed for a start today, yet turns up 30 mins late. again. So Ernie bins him.

What Mcbean wants is a month down at the Luxton and District bus company. I sort him out.
He can take out the number 10 Bus, that Butler used to have.
I need a decent bus crew who can help keep the buses running on time! with his record, it might take longer.
Cum on Mcbean, get that bus out

Not quite signed and sealed but I can confirm that the paperwork for this loan is being dealt with.

I knew Warren wasn't happy with the way things were, and I can see how his outlook and Ernie's might clash. Not exactly a match made in heaven there.
