This may not be the best day to wear all white! Have you been washing your away kit in bleach again, miss Cat? ...what colour is your away kit?

Let's put this result and performance to bed and move on. Results went our way so no major damage done.

You won't win games if you can't muster one shot on target in 90 minutes. Anything else won't matter. I just hope this gives us the kick up the arse we need to get the job done.

Let's put this result and performance to bed and move on. Results went our way so no major damage done. Today reminds me of that old Kenny Rogers song. 'You pick a fine time to leave me Lucille'. Lucky no real damage done, we can't blame lads too much as everyone has to lose sometime, just a shame it was today. We may not physically play again until next Saturday, but we effectively take to the field again on Wednesday, when we will be looking for a huge favour from Stones in their rearranged match with Macclesfield.

The Amber warning was not for snow it was that we would not be turning up today. We would not have scored if we had still been playing. Cannot see Macclesfield turning in such a performance on Wednesday.

I don't know much about Twitter, but love the fact the Transport Police tweeted someone called Simon F***wit.

Our first defeat in the league since December, and Maidstone become the first club to do the double over us this season.
We didn't defend too badly today, but were lacklustre going forward against what was frankly a mediocre Maidstone side. I don't recall a single Sutton shot on target throughout the 90 minutes. Kieron Cadogan had a decent opportunity to snatch an equaliser in stoppage time but put his shot over the bar.
We started without wingers, playing what I assume was a midfield diamond, but just ended up looking rather too compressed. When wide men Kieron and Stearny did come on (no Tom in the squad) they didn't do much to pep up the attack.
Should we read anything into this below-par performance? Or was it just the poor show that comes up at random from time to time? Fans will expect a reaction against Chester next Saturday.
EDIT: that late shot over the bar was by Louis John, not Kieron.

Pretty abject today. Zero shots on target says it all. The set-up and balance of the team was not right for me, right from the off. As such, it was very difficult to create anything, despite lots of the ball.
With that said, we had three great opportunities to score and Louis’s, in particular, was a must score.
It makes you realise how spoilt we have all been this season that a narrow defeat at a mediocre team is so terribly disappointing.
Still confident and still have the faith. Can’t win them all. On to the next one.

It was very disappointing yesterday. We just seemed to be a bit slower that the Stones and they wanted it more. Even though we’ve been getting results recently I don’t think we’ve been playing well. It’s not for the lack of effort though.
I still have to pinch myself that we’re second in the league.
Roll inn saturday where I’m sure we’ll get a positive reaction. Onwards and upwards

A frustrating afternoon yesterday at Maidstone, we missed Tom Bolarinwa badly I thought. Dos mentioned it was our worst performance of the season and it's been a while since I've seen us play that poorly. Our one saving grace being that Macclesfield and Tranmere also lost with Boreham Wood rising up to third. I, like many will probably be keeping a close eye on Macclesfield's game in hand on us at Maidstone this Wednesday evening.
