I agree Billy, we have fantastic supporters. Many go to almost every game and the long-distance trips can be a big hit on the pocket.

One long trip we won't be doing next season for sure is Chester, who became the first team to be relegated.

I’m not sure that the ground comes up to standard for the National League currently. Recent changes, like the wooden cladding at the back of the GGL covered terrace, and the loss of half of the open terrace on the stand side must have cut capacity. Whether this has cut the ground capacity below the required NR standard I don’t know, but these items may have to be resolved during the upcoming redevelopment works.

How about the main stand ? The seats are very uncomfortable with hardly any legroom. On the subject of away travel,i used to enjoy a few aways myself - when they were "around the corner." Especially Carshalton on Boxing Day ! Just saying.........................

Judging by the photos and the highlights it looks like a lovely ground. How many Sutton supporters were there, roughly ? As always not looking for an exact figure just a sensible one ! There were 34 sitting and approximately 80 behind the goal. Lovely ground and great facilities and also just £13 to get in. We played very well in the first half without Fylde even registereing a shot at goal. As expected they came back into it the second half. I can’t believe that yet again we had a poor ref missing 2 blatant handballs and loads of pushes in the back. Awarded a free kick when one of their players collided with his own keeper. Didn’t book Eastmond or Rowe for booting the ball miles up field when the whistle went several seconds earlier and also didn’t apply the laws of the game to tackles. I feel he had to be somewhere that evening and don’t want to do any report writing.
