I spotted David Warner & Steve Smith in Sutton High St this afternoon buying their cricket whites, heard they are going to be turning out for Sutton CCC. Smith played half a dozen or so games for Surrey seconds in 2007. are you being serious billy? |

..and I saw him play ! It was at Sutton CC in a charity game with Jimmy Tarbuck. Harry Secombe was there too. It might have been Arnold Long's testimonial.

I really don’t see any mileage in copying over posts from elsewhere to here. It comes across as trying to create friction between fans and that is not required, considering some of the previous posts on here. If people want to say that on another media/forum then if you feel the need of course defend Dos or the club, but fcuk me this is getting incredibly childish. Got to disagree, Greek. I don't think it comes across that way and I am not on Facebook so I would've been completely unaware of something I am quite interested to hear. |

But if you are that interested you can sign up to Facebook and join that discussion. You can also root out lots of other Sutton comments if you were so inclined. Should we post stuff that we hear in the ground or bar or going to and from the game? I see no mileage in it other than to cause a divide in the fan base. I’m not agreeing with the comments. |

But we do post stuff like that. There have been plenty of threads started by "I overheard someone at the ground say X and it got me thinking" or "we were discussing Y over a pint and I wondered what others think."

But not naming the person that said it, or in your other example you are saying it was said by you. Not the same as listing the statements, when and where they were said so we can all look down in those fans, because we are better fans. It is pathetic and will/has caused a rift at a time when it really isn’t needed. |

At today's game I was approached by a number of fans thanking them for making them aware of the group and also sharing the comments.
I also went out of my way not to name the individual or individuals involved. I could have quite easily shared their social media details and agree that would have been childish and pathetic.
You may continue to think what you like.

I’ll stick with childish and pathetic for now. Please continue with your vendetta to cause a rift in the fans base whilst being holier than thou. |
