Tony Burman steps down after 14 years in charge. Have to feel for Dartford a bit - only finished 2nd to Havant on goal difference then got edged out in the play-offs. Once Wenger leaves Arsenal at the season's close, save for Exeter's Paul Tisdale, Dos must be one of the longest serving managers in the top five tiers of English football now...

Stats suggesting 2 players work better together totally ignores the performance of the other 9 players on the pitch and who we are playing. They can help inform sure, but management is so much more than that. If not then we might as well just have a computer in charge. Didn't do Brentford a lot of good a couple of years ago did it.

Who was the tit who predicted at the start of the season that we would be relegated on his season preview blog/website?
Safe to say he was completely wrong as we all suspected at the time.

As DELLBOY used to say to RODNEY..........you plonker. Just done the quick maths, which is easy enough as a data analyst, and he was precisely 7.75 places off the final result AVERAGE, which in a league of 24 is pretty atrocious Standard Deviation in a predication table. The highlights were him being 18 places off of us, 16 off Macclesfield and 12 off both Boreham Wood and Hartlepool. He had the final 22nd, 23rd and 24th as finishing in 13th, 14th and 15th. All around, a horrendous result all around. He literally only got Guiseley correct.

Andy Davies, who replaced Keates at Wrexham after the latter went to Walsall has left to join him here after Sam Ricketts was appointed manager at the Racecourse. Also on the move is Jay Saunders assistant at Maidstone, Nicky Southall.

I was impressed with Barrett when Maidenhead won at ours back in September - he ripped us apart I seem to remember. Wouldn't have minded him here this summer..

So a couple of days after missing out on promotion with Hampton & Richmond, Dowse and Tyler have jumped ship and taken over at Woking - good appointment for them I'd say..
