Whoops - looks like the betting site I was just looking at needs some updating.

Away to Airdrieonians. Fantastic. Anyone know where that is?

I'm not sure what the prize fund is, but I believe the club will get fairly substantial travel expenses, so the whole venture might end up being financially worthwhile. A victory over Airdrie would certainly help.

What hope that the game might be played on the Sunday? On Saturday, there are no late trains London-bound out of Edinburgh, necessitating an overnight stay (even if it's just a platform at York). But on Sunday there are trains and the whole journey can be completed shortly after midnight. Sunday kickoff please - whoever decides these things.

How exciting. A trip to Glasgow ! 19 hours on the coach for an hour and a half's football in a Mickey Mouse Cup.

Glasgow is a great city. Airdrie is much closer to Glasgow than Edinburgh, so I assume that travelling via the former is the better option.

Does anyone have an idea as to when the date of the match will be confirmed? Looking forward to it!

I'm full of admiration for anyone who does make the trip.I would have thought flying to Glasgow would be the best option. London to Glasgow 1 hour 30 mins but the price rises dramatically on Saturdays.
