Glasgow is a great city. Airdrie is much closer to Glasgow than Edinburgh, so I assume that travelling via the former is the better option. Yeah, good call and it looks like trains run later into the evening too. But I'd find it harder to get off at Peterborough.

I'm full of admiration for anyone who does make the trip.I would have thought flying to Glasgow would be the best option. London to Glasgow 1 hour 30 mins but the price rises dramatically on Saturdays. Supporters coach? Supporters private jet probably a better option!

Got a half 8am on the Sunday so I’m out. All madness. Good luck to the travellers, am sure it will be a good laugh.

Hmm, less than an hour by train from my in-laws. Hopefully I can get myself a free "hotel"

I am away that weekend which has saved me from having to antagonize whether to try and get there or not.

Before making travel arrangements, remember that the game might be played on the Sunday (9th). Although the Saturday is more likely, as Sutton have a game the previous Tuesday (at Maidstone), and none the following Tuesday, we may prefer the Sunday. (Airdrieonians don't have a game on either Tuesday.)

Do the TV companies have a say in whether it's Saturday or Sunday too?

The fixture secretary has just told me that he has spoken to Airdrieonians and the game will be on Saturday 8th September. The game will not be televised.

What do Airdrieonians have in common with their opponents today: Stenhousemuir?
First correct answer and I’ll shout them a packet of custard creams.
