Are SCR going to segregate? Invasion fixture No standing by perimeter fence for this, full stewarding + police presence I reckon 😱

To be honest, very few of our fans bother with SSC matches because we don't play our first team. I'll be there though!

Will this be the first time the two clubs have played each other? Cant not go to this really... Yes this will be a first I am genuinely surprised. No excuses for not having a good turnout for this one...

I've noticed that some clubs (e.g. Corinthian Casuals and Kingstonian) let fans use their Season Tickets for County Cup matches. For this particular game, it might be worth the two clubs considering that as a possibility. Make it a bit of a local festival perhaps. It might even set an SCR attendance record (whatever that is).

We do normally offer very cheap entry for Sutton United Season Ticket Holders to attend our SCR home matches so I’m sure we will put something in place for this match.

I am genuinely surprised. No excuses for not having a good turnout for this one... Not hugely surprising. SCRFC has only been around for 40 years and never played in Sutton until they moved in with us (although they have played in Carshalton).

I guess it's not that surprising we haven't played SCRFC in a competitive fixture until now (32 teams compete in the 1st round of the SSC so we're arguably slightly overdue to play them) but I'm a bit surprised we've never played each other in a friendly before.

We did play a pre-season friendly against your under 23’s side and played against your reserves way back in the 2009/10 season but have never played against Sutton United in a competitive first team competition.

Well in that case, I am no longer anywhere near as surprised as I was.

We will of course have to wear our away kit, which will feel a bit strange at GGL.

I used to referee the origins of SCR on a Sunday morning, their now manager playing up front and Barry of the "Circle" fame in goal. Leatherhead & District League was the competition.
Come a fair way since then.

Come a fair way since then. Wow that does take me back to our clubs early days of just being a Sutton based sunday side which Darren Salmon (now 1st team manager) playing up front and Alan Salmon (now SCR chairman) being the team manager back then. We actually still have sunday teams in the Leatherhead & District League to this day that go under the SCR Sunday name.
