Do you want names ? (there was a time when I could probably have done that !) I basically counted the groups where someone was wearing choc & amber It's not just a pointless exercise, as we have to provide home clubs with an estimate of our travelling support ahead of each game so we do need to know rough numbers and as yesterday was not segregated we had no official figure.

But do they listen Dave? Torquay last season and Aldershot spring to mind.

And I repeat Craig’s effort beat the keeper (he didn’t even get a hand on it) and was brilliantly cleared by the defender. Happy birthday Frakey btw. New glasses needed as a pressie 😜 Looks like the BBC website needs new glasses too... www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45456760

The match reviews on the Beeb often are naff at this level. I know they are from the Associated Press though, not directly from them.

Never heard of irony Mr Fox? I was merely quoting what a wise man once said on the subject!

I actually said "it's all bollocks".
Your one word response appeared to be mild abuse aimed at me for my ironic comment.
Glad that is now cleared up.

Harry Beautyman made the National League Team of the week, he deserved it 👏👍 Totally. Best I've seen him since before his sending off at Dover last season. I also think that if he wasn't captain JC would have a tough time getting back in to the starting XI. Clough and Beckwith made a great cb pairing.

I agree with that, and given Dos's comments about the goalkeeping situation and needing to earn the shirt back from the incumbent it will be interesting to see if that is the case with Beckwith/Collins also. Dean hasn't done anything wrong once given the opportunity so it would be harsh to lose the jersey just because the suspension has been served.

Don't forget that JC played at left back for a spell last season (and earlier in his career was a midfielder). Although most of us think CB is his best position, it is possible to accommodate him, Dean and Cloughie in the same starting XI.

Agreed. Great to have Dean match fit and playing well though. As has been mentioned in the forward debate we’ll need the whole squad. Maybe Charlie gets a rest for the game in Ireland and we’re back to Dean and JC.
