At the beginning of the week I was really looking forward to this game now I’m a little nervous after Tuesdays mauling by Boreham Wood.
I’m hoping we can display some bouncebackability on Saturday, put up a fight and hopefully get something from the game, but this is going to be a tough encounter - Sam Ricketts has come in over the summer and really got them going. Wrexham currently lie second (just a point behind Harrogate) having thumped Ebbsfleet 4-1 last time out.
Should be our biggest home gate of the season! Come on the U’s!

Tough game maybe but there is no team in our division we can't beat at home. Hopefully we shall see a response after the BW defeat.

Forget Tuesday, we won’t see that performance for sometime. We’ll see a different mentality from our lads. Sam R has got Wrexham back where there fan base believe they should be (challenging for the title).

Sam will have it drilled into them that this will be a very very tough game. Besides the back 4 and keeper there's no real places nailed on so everyone's looking to prove themselves. Having said that you've got a strong team and a good manager and as we all know there's no easy games in this league. My head says we'll get a draw against you as it's a tough ground to visit and you'll be looking to prove a point after Saturday. Looking forward to visiting GGL for the third time, hopefully this time will finally be a win. |
