The BBC website says match postponed - frozen pitch. Is this fake news?

Game was called off at 2:55.
Really enjoyed our inclusion in the tournament, think the inclusion of teams from the ROI needs a rethink though, their season just doesn’t sync up with the tournament

Hardly think a 1:30 inspection is appropriate. Plenty of national league games were called off on Friday to prevent clubs pointlessly travelling. This game should have been played in November, the Republic of Ireland sides shouldn’t be invited back, doesn’t make logistical sense. Feel really bad for East Fife.

The suitable date to play the game was November 17th when it should have been played. The LOI was finished by then that's the issue so Boh's would have had no players This should have been thought about long before they were invited, they only had to win 2 games.

According to their Twitter account they have now withdrawn from the competition. Can we be reinstated? I'm glad you said something we're all thinking! Irony is that if we played them at home on Saturday there would have been no fear or a postponed match !

If Sutton are re-instated would that mean it would be the first time a club have been re-instated in two cup competitions after being knocked out in the same season?

If Sutton are re-instated would that mean it would be the first time a club have been re-instated in two cup competitions after being knocked out in the same season? Although not quite the same scenario, there was a very unusual occurrence in the 2007/08 Surrey Senior Cup competition when Kingstonian and Tooting & Mitcham, having won their respective quarter-finals, were both thrown out for fielding ineligible players. The teams they had beaten, Redhill and Merstham, were reinstated and faced each other in the semi-final. Merstham took full advantage of their good fortune and went on the lift the trophy for the first time in their history.
