At home to lower league opposition, I'm pretty happy with that draw. Also Slough have decent support, it isn't far for them to come and we haven't played each other for years so they should bring a fair few I'd have thought. I'd imagine they are probably not as pleased with the draw as they are away to a team from a higher league and it isn't a glamour tie. Mixed reaction on the Slough forum but majority are looking forward to the game. Obviously like yourselves we'd have liked a league club at home or away. We had around 150/200 supporters at Eastbourne so I'd think we will have at least 200+ travelling to your ground. Not too far to travel and you have a nice ground with 4G so personally I'm looking forward to renewing old rivalries.

Some replays took place last night, no shocks, but Oxford sticking 5 past Hemel stood out. Wrexham disposed of Harrogate and Boreham Wood knocked Dagenham out away.
2 more ties to be decided - Hitchin or Leatherhead and Taunton or Billericay.
Oh I remember a replay on a cold October night in Leatherhead a few years back...

I'll be rooting for Taunton, especially after they saved Luke's life...

I did hear that Taunton smells worse on the inside than it does on the outside.

Seems our midweek fixture against Barnet has been moved to help both sides with their cup preparation. Surprised we can do that but good news!

Two more replays last night - Billericay winning 1-0 down in Taunton (pity - I thought they could come unstuck there) so will now visit Chesterfield in the 1st Round Proper. Hitchin beat Leatherhead (for whom Crossley Lema is playing for currently) 2-1 after extra time and go on to host Solihull in the next round.
Still amazes me how much motivation the Cup gives teams - Hitchin have won one paltry league game all season (sitting 21st in the Southern League) yet have now won through four qualifying rounds.

That's incredible must be a bit infuriating as a fan though. One thing I give us our due credits for is we never lack effort under Dos.

Went to daggers v Wood the other night dagenham are in a terrible state atm fans are very restless think if they lose Saturday Taylor will be shown the door.
Boreham wood didn't really have to work for their win nevertheless it sent their 44 fans home happy.

Except that the 3 clubs they have previously played in the Cup, Godmanchester, Didcot and Hastings United are all at a level lower!

Least it’s not Salford or Billericay I guess.. And nor are those two on BT Sport: Three other first-round fixtures - Maidenhead United v Portsmouth, Port Vale v Sunderland and Hampton and Richmond Borough v Oldham - will be broadcast on BT Sport across the weekend. Portsmouth travel to Maidenhead on Saturday, 10 November (12:30 GMT), while Port Vale welcome Sunderland the following day (14:30 GMT). So lots of ex-Sutton players on TV on the Monday Night.... League Two's Oldham are away to Hampton and Richmond Borough on the Monday night (19:45 GMT).

When do we find out if we’re playing on the Saturday or Sunday (assuming the BBC are still doing the live goal thing they did last year)?

Are there still TV fees or were they amalgamated into the prize fund ?
