The fact Tommy had the strength to even try to play on shows how tough and fit the young man is. I have no doubt he’ll be back as good as ever as soon as possible. Best of luck and speedy recovery, you have the whole club behind you.

That's awful for Tommy but using Ross as a most recent example, it should not be insurmountable. Speedy recovery to Tommy W.
As for the incident, I suspect being shoved over when accelerating didn't help matters.
Ref's these days are generally only likely to stop play for a head injury and as Brook didn't even give a free-kick then the chances of him stopping play were zero. Also, as TW came back on, I am not sure him leaving the field the second time with little aid can be blamed on the ref either, after all, he is not a specialist (can't even ref properly).
One thing is for sure is the Orient fans treatment of TW as he left the field was a disgrace and even more so now. Any sympathy we may have with their recent plight has now disappeared and I couldn't give two figs about them. Add that to the alleged incident in the bar afterwards and their claim to be a friendly club is well and truly exposed to be a complete falsehood.

You been to a few grounds Mark, who would say have treated U's fans and our team the best Win/Lose or Draw? We have seen big time Charlies, The wannabes, Old Adversaries etc?

Not really the best person to ask as I don't tend to interact with oppo fans, particularly after matches.
Thought Tranmere fans were ok after our win up there last season. Took it a lot better than some of the Lincoln fans the season before.

I've always found Ebbsfleet fans to be gracious in defeat after leaving their ground.

I've always found Ebbsfleet fans to be gracious in defeat after leaving their ground. I think Ebbsfleet fans and club have calmed down a lot in recent years, they did have a big time Charlie attitude for a while after the money came in, but have now settled in for the long haul, which I think is a credit to them. Salford on the other hand, have taken on that mantle, with roadies who think they are on the road with Elvis, but thats another story..
