I'm biased against goalkeepers ! They have been getting away with murder for decades in the timewasting stakes, despite all sorts of different measures being introduced.

Does it matter? I mean, Sutton are sitting pretty in eighth and Halifax are down in sixteenth. If this incident happened when the score was 0-0 why would Jamie time waste when playing a side a fair way below them.

It doesn't matter at all if you are someone who is happy to watch games where the ball is in play for between 45 and 60 minutes of the 90,which is now the norm.
A sizeable chunk of that is spent in the middle third of the pitch with the ball being passed a few feet backwards and sideways, especially in the premier league.
Add to that goalkeepers standing, hands over the ball, until the last possible second then picking it up when the forward arrives on the scene.
If both teams are happy with a 0 - 0 draw on Boxing Day,why not let Bromley pass the ball to Butler from the kick off and let him stand there with it until the fulltime whistle ? It won't be against the rules.

Good point,i didn't think of that ! He will have to be given the ball twice. He could treat us to a series of his pirouettes change his matching ensemble at half time and drink from several bottles of liquid to pass the time.

Have you two ever met each other? Billy got booked for time wasting by MarkF during his reffing days. I think Billy was in goal for Carshalton at the time!
