SCR 5 points clear, but Chertsey have 4 games in hand and a better GD. Winner of the league promoted, but I think it's still finally determined by the NLS committee. Dorking 9 points clear of Harringey playing the same number of games, and auto promotion into our league (albeit the division below). "Started it" is a bit of a stretch! But this has got NOTHING to do with the League 2 drop zone. Non sequiturs are the scourge of the modern game. They're worse than goalkeepers who refuse to be substituted... |

Who would have thought Lincoln going up in 2nd year in Div 2 and Macclesfield going down after 1 year. It’s a funny old game is soccer ⚽️ it was clear from Lincoln's league and cup exploits they were a VERY strong side so not at all surprised to see them on course for league 1. Not all that much between lower L1 and top Conf sides. Macclesfield scraped out of a very poor conference division last season and probably have one of the FLs smallest budgets so I fully expected them to struggle. When you look at the top half of the championship (almost all huge teams) and the size of teams like sunderland, Blackburn, Charlton Sheff u, leeds etc who have all been in L1 recently it's clear to see where a big gap has developed between upper l1 and the rest. Occasionally a yeovil sized club will break into the championship but it rarely lasts long without mad investment. It's a big dog world out there and teams generally find their level over time |

He posted a screenshot of something on Twitter, but at the bottom of the screen he had a load of images lined up that were stored in his phone - one of which was him bollock naked. What has been seen cannot be unseen... On the subject of Notts, though, if they do go into administration - as now seems likely - the associated points deduction would put them 15 points from safety with 12 games to play. |
