It would be strange indeed if Coventry City's place in the Football League were taken by Solihull Moors! Solihull has already stolen a march on Coventry in West Midlands car manufacturing. Port Vale play in Burslem, one of Stoke-on-Trent's six towns. I've not been to Vale Park, but I have drunk in a number of Burslem's pubs and would be happy to return to any of them. 😊 I'm guessing one of those pubs wasn't the one between KFC and the ground?! Yes, it's friendlier than a trip to Stoke City but my God that isn't saying much. Still, they've installed amber coloured seats at the Wembley of the North as a mark of respect so fair play to them for that

Not surprised. Bolon have been in financial trouble for a number of years. There's other Championship and L1 clubs that are/(or maybe were) in trouble that aren't mentioned here. I know of at least 2 clubs that have been served with Winding Up Petitions (not Orders as in the article)
