Here's hoping Hartlepool quack under pressure so delboy can break his duck. I won't be at the game as I've been egged into playing an all day music festival, but I will be peking at the result. Given where it is being played I think you mean 'taking a gander at the score'. It won't be a draw at HT - we'll be eider down or up. But what this boils down to is you are ducking out to attend a dopefest. You may be guitarred and feathered. |

I don't know about the rest of you but on a match thread I'd like to read about the match. I'm still the only one who's posted about the match. I'd rather not have to scroll through back biting and numerous posts of badly forced puns.
Obviously just a personal preference from me, but I do know a few forum users who are posting and viewing less because as one described "it's like every thread just turns into puns".

What I would like is someone starting a thread without a motive to change their fortune and then not state the bleeding obvious in their other sentence.
Tbh, unless there is some actual news relevant to the fixture I have never seen the point of a Friday match thread, especially at home.
Just full of predictions not always based on good evidence or and even worse, expectations.
Might make me appear a miserable git (I wear that as a badge) but I don't particularly care.
As for the puns. Aaaargh. Please leave them to Tim.
