I suspect the ‘clever’ photoshop brigade have already been on that picture. If only I knew how.....!

...if you're referring to the appearance of certain letters on the hoarding in the background then I am a bit surprised. We don't harbour any animosity towards them, surely? I for one wish them well, and hope they get promoted. The fact I've put money on them to go up is neither here nor there....

The Cummins & Pope boards? They've been there years. Isn't that their chairman's company?

A bit gutting to see Roarie scoring against Portsmouth on the front page of this week's NLP.

Yes he was a good player but he was here only a season and a half and wouldn't even make it into most people's all time Sutton XI. We managed to do just fine without him the season he was in Scotland.

We can't look at it that way, you have to ask yourself : Do we look to have a better attack this season than last season? I think we are looking far better at the business end of the pitch, 'one player does a team not make'?

We need to look forward not back - just some words uttered in Monday’s meet the manager evening. It certainly didn’t look like we missed him last night and was he really anything special when he came back to us in February (yes granted he played a fair amount at left back). I wish him well at Havant.

Three goals in two games for Aaron Jarvis. Friendlies or not, an auspicious start.
