Isn’t it a bit premature to be asking the question? We don’t even have a squad assembled yet.

Odd when we don't even know who are in this league next season!

Odd when we don't even know who are in this league next season! Sutton and Boring Wood for a start 🤷🏼♂️

But we know that Leyton Orient have gone, one of Flyde (© Dos) or Salford will join them; Notts County and Yeovil come down; Stockport are up and one of Chorley or Spennymoor will join them; Torquay are up, one of Woking or Welling will join them.
So I'm expecting at least one of the demoted clubs will struggle to adjust to the National. Stockport and whichever of the northern clubs will be strong, because that's a stronger league than the south, Torquay will do ok, don't care about either Woking or Welling. In a nutshell, same as last season. .
So we'll come 10th again.

10th will be an impressive finish for a new manager in his debut senior management role. Anything above that will be particularly impressive...

Good reasoning TonyD but only on the assumption that many variables remain unchanged, when that is unlikely. Look at the fall down the table of Sutton and Borehamwood last season. Pre-season could you have predicted the level of injuries Sutton sustained, or Borehamwood's nability to replace good players they sold?
In the case of Sutton I will predict MG will try to change the playing style, and I base that on the goings only - since we haven't seen the comings. Therefore our performances are even harder to guess. MG seems to be keeping hard-working, gritty, players so I guess our away form and home form will be similar.
But reverting to the opening questioner, scorpioeyes. Why now? So many Summer sports to take your mind off football. Apart from the obvious Tennis and Cricket, Bloggers on here have shown an interest in Speedway, Horseracing and Motor-racing.
